Subscribe Apache Mailing List
To subscribe to any mailing list in Apache, there are two simple steps
Step 1 - Send a mail to the subscription request email address.
What is Subscription request email?
It is the mail ID on which user send the mail to subscribe the mailing list.
The subscription request email rule is simple and applicable to all the mailing list in Apache. You will just need to add -subscribe in it and send mail on it for subscription.
For e.g. if you want to subscribe to announce@apache.org mailing list, the subscription request email will be announce-subscribe@apache.org.
To subscribe announce@apache.org mailing list send a mail to announce-subscribe@apache.org with the word "Subscribe" in the subject line.
(The subject line is optional but it is good to write something).
Step 2 - Reply to the confirmation email
Once you send mail to subscription email address, you will receive a mail to confirm your subscription.
Simply give a reply to this mail.
After reply, you will receive a welcome email.
Congratulations, with these steps, you are subscribe to the mailing list.
Unsubscribe Apache Mailing List
To unsubscribe to any mailing list in Apache, there are two simple steps

It is the mail ID on which user send the mail to unsubscribe the mailing list.
The unsubscription request email rule is simple and applicable to all the mailing list in Apache. You will just need to add -unsubscribe in it and send mail on it for subscription.
